Join the national adoption day effort
By planning a National Adoption Day event in your community, you will help raise awareness about the 114,000 children currently in foster care in need of permanent, loving families; multiply the efforts of other communities across the country; and build support and momentum for National Adoption Day.

Your event can be:

• A day of finalizing adoptions in family court
• A press conference for local media
• A party or picnic to celebrate families who have adopted children from foster care
• An adoption fair with information about adopting and local community resources
• Any combination of the above!

The National Adoption Day Coalition provides all of the tools you will need to plan an event in your community, helping you every step of the way. On this Web site, you will find tools from previous years to help you plan.
