Adopt America Network finds permanent homes for waiting children in the foster care system (without charging fees) using a national network of adoption volunteers. Services include matching waiting children with waiting families, recruiting new prospective adoptive families, networking, adoption preparation training and family home studies, advocating on behalf of families with child custodial agencies, and increasing public awareness about adoption concerns.

The National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association: Over 500,000 abused and neglected children currently live in the foster care system because they are unable to live safely at home. Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers work to ensure these children have a caring, permanent home.

The National Center for Adoption Law and Policy (NCALP) at Capital University Law School believes that all children – especially those who have been abused, neglected, or are dependent on the state for their care – should have safe, healthy, and permanent homes. Accordingly, NCALP educates and advocates on behalf of children and works to improve laws, policies and practices associated with child protection and adoption systems.

Voice for Adoption (VFA) is a grassroots group of national, state, and local organizations and individuals formed by professionals, parents, and child welfare advocates to address the needs of waiting children. As an advocacy group, VFA educates lawmakers, media outlets, and the general public about children in state custody and the families that come forward to adopt them.

It has over 140 members, representing most of the eligible Jewish Family and Children's Agencies on this continent, along with specialized agencies serving developmentally disabled people and the resettlement community. |
