plan an event!
By planning a National Adoption Day event, you are helping to change the lives of children and adoptive families forever and raise awareness about foster children in need of permanent families. By planning an event on November 17, 2007, you will help to multiply the efforts of others like yourself in communities across the country. With each additional community that joins The National Adoption Day effort, more and more people learn about the importance of adopting children from foster care through its increased impact in the new media.

National Adoption Day has a variety of resources to help you with every step of planning an event in your community. To begin planning your event, review the goals and step-by-step timeline below.
