The Kids’ Adoption Network Conference is C.A.S.E.’s signature annual event. Held every November in celebration of National Adoption Month, it is a non-threatening, fun-filled day that draws in children who may otherwise be reluctant to come together with others around adoption.
Each year, 150 adopted children in grades 1st-12th spend a unique day immersed in activities which explore the joys and challenges of being adopted. While their children are engaged with their peers, parents benefit from inspirational, educational workshops that address the common questions and concerns related to adoptive parenting. The opening and closing ceremonies of the Conference focus on celebrating adoptive families as the children and parents share what they have learned with each other. The day culminates in a carnival complete with games, face-painting and cotton candy.
