Event Details:

November 22nd, 2013 will mark the 12th annual National Adoption Day Celebration for King County Superior Court. Every year for the past twelve years, KCSC has taken part in the joyous celebration of not only foster children adoptions, but adoptions of children in general.

National Adoption Day began in November of 2000 with a small group across the nation participating, but King County quickly jumped aboard. Since then, every Friday before Thanksgiving, this special day is dedicated to finalizing these ‘forever families’ in as many as 345 individual events across the United States.

This year, Judge Dean Lum is spearheading an effort to make year number twelve a celebration to remember. Efforts to have our annual “special guest”, entertainment, goodie bags for the kids and refreshments for this special occasion are well under way.

This is a free, public event and everyone is invited! So mark your calendars to save that date:

Date: November 22nd, 2013 Time: 12-1pm Where: 516 Third Avenue, E-942 Seattle, WA 98104
