Franklin County Children Services will partner with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Franklin County Probate Court to celebrate National Adoption Day. On this special day we can acknowledge the special work that is done all year at many different levels to provide safety, permanency, and well-being for our children. We can celebrate our children and the joy they bring to families, we honor our families that provide love, support, and stability to our children, we thank our community partners that support our work and, praise our child welfare professionals who strive to help children and families achieve permanency. We hope that this day will encourage people across the country to support adoption of youth in foster care.
