This year the Whatcom County Superior Court will be celebrating National Adoption Day on November 19, 2026, from 10:00 -11:00 a.m., at the Whatcom County Courthouse (3rd floor, Department 4). The symbolic celebration will honor Youth Guardianships.
Starting November 16, 2026, a tree celebrating permanency will be displayed on the 3rd floor near Department 4, community members are invited to place a leaf on the tree with their finalized adoption year or established youth guardianship year.
